When you are like Jimmy Savile it can't be said that he did like women. First of all. Even, as the official version has it, he was not gay.
But the truth of the matter is that his way of thinking, behaving, posing (and some much less publicize sex scandals involving little boys by the way) have much in common with other very famous gays, that they hide their main -or only- sexual orientation
It seems some people can criticize everything. Then is that's possible to some is far all. Let us speak some truths.

Within the Gay community and individuals, and mostly Male gays there is a surprising huge love for material things, for power...and for money. As said, a downright and unashamed love for jewels, silver, much more for gold, money, expensive cars ...luxury in general. Luxury, pleasure...and this mean drugs, parties, sex. All this with no limits...for them. Limits are for the rest. And they are very nihilist. Politically, by some reason, the tend to dislike native nations, small nations, oppress nations. They are very, in general, pro-Empires. Take the USA, them like other sectors: they will very vocal of the injustice against the black community, against the Latin community....and nothing or nothing much to say about the Native Nations, the Native Americans.
Before continuing. We are not criticizing being gay, it is a critic to be like this. If you are gay, or immigrant, worker or brown, black or muslim, catholic or jew your are not above criticism because that. But as we are saying there is really big percentage of this. Much more that they are willing to recognize. And this is other point. The lack of self-criticism. But things like this can be said, of other sectors. Like we can say that within the high levels of society there is this as well. But again, it happens that many close to the top, and in the top are gay. There is a gay lobby, yes. Go to Madrid, to some neighborhoods. Or other palces. How many business run by male gays mainly, with gay managers, that mostly gay positions and jobs to gay people. And that is how strange, sick and twisted things are. He can be denounce as a pedophile, as an abuser of little girls. But not to be recognized as gay...or bisexual. The very same as with Adolf Hitler. He was a bastards, a mass murderer ...but remain silence about the fact, the KNOWN and proven fact he was GAY.
Other similarties: JS like AH, love cars, powerful and expensive ones.
Both love luxury and orgies.
Both love political, social and economic power (of course capitalist and imperialist power)
Both love money
Both love use and abuse people in needy situations:

And the importance to the System of JS was not only that he provided (in safe and friendly environment for the other part) boys and girls to so many TV presenters, actors, singer, royals, clerics and so. No, that can be of some importance of course, but not the main root of the importance of JS.
So many features of the present day modern society, with this show-business style in every aspect of life have his finger prints. So many and in so many places! People that is sicken by him, should start to take away from them and thrown away the seeds he put in them. The mental insemination that he did. Because we can more less say that. Is not only brainwashing people. Is brainwashing them, and when they have nothing inseminate with the new shit. People that dislike and hate him recognize that he was a a "genius" in the entertainment industry. This speak volumes of the real nature of this industry. But again not so many people will move away from it or its tentacles, will criticize it and denounce it.
Other thing it seems he was very good is at commercial, in publicity and in PR stuff. He was not only a money making machine for him, his friends (ALL MALE) and the things he like it. But he was a proud worker of the British Empire.
The last point here, and something that give him lots of credit -and impunity- with the Intelligence Services of Britain, of the police and the military: his involvement in the Irish question.
Helping the Brit Empire with this issue and at that time (the '70s) was priceless. This was, apart of doing it willingly and happily, a very good investment personally for JS. This, more than probably the main root of the incredible impunity he had and the "laisse-faire" he enjoyed till he died.

Not only this, for sure he had a connection with Kincora. And we know the stuff here. Some rotten apples within the Republican Movement at the time were around. This was a source of black mailing (a prove of the weakness of the individuals that instead of saying," fuck me, i will admit my guilt or wrong doing to the people" even if that means bad consequences, been marginalized or expel from the country..instead of becoming an agent, a traitor that point out comrades many of whom would be killed), a source of information and intelligence and an open window for planting other brits agents in the Republican Movement or close enough.
