Political Surrealism (PS) 1: Political surrealism only helps the ones in power and the very system itself

Political Surrealism (PS) 1: Political surrealism only helps the ones in power and the very system itself.

Example: read days ago. the name is not here because, first the person or persons behing the name are unknown, second because it will be like giving the page publicity when already have a lot, and third because the important thing here is the text, the ideas.

McT N believe that politics is not a hobby. McT believes that politics is a serious enterprise. For example, Ireland, where a lot of people is imprisoned because Politics. And as a serious enterprise should be taken seriously most of the times (yes you can fun sometimes, or make political jokes) and for sure always when dealing with ideas and ideology.

This was read from a place that display lots of republicans logos and images with slogans portraying itself as super-republican. If it has nice republican motifs and slogans, how can it not be?

Well, then we read this:

Barely a day passes that Republicans are not mocked, attacked or criminalised by hypocritical political opponents & sections of the media, north & south.
As Republicanism grows stronger, more astute & confident, these attacks will intensify.
 We are winning the peace.

Again, the place portraits itself as 300% republican (the good ones), makes a lot of images and logos, some of them nice and put IR slogans. But when has to elaborate, we read this!

Again, politics is a serious business, and McT N take it seriously. And lots of young people lots of unprepared, ideologically and politically speaking, people see this can of things sure they have and effect.

Excuse McT, but this is political surrealism. Big time.

Intelligent enough to mix some facts with some own ideas in a clever manner, like "grows stronger" and "astute". What does that means? More astute were in Warrenpoint for example, or Brighton, but he is not talking about that. Astute, in the mainstream meaning, in the nowadays use of it, means other thing.

And McT says that becoming more and more astute, and doing less in the old ways in general, and one day you wake up a professional politician or someone that has mature and see no use for some means of struggle and fight.

Or ends so clever and astute fella that summarizes politics and political struggle with having some debates, sending letters to the local newspaper, trying to appear in TV and "battling" in Internet.

But the firecraker is this:

Winning the peace?

What? Winning the peace. can you say this and claim to be an Irish Republican?

Peace? What peace? The peace of the prisoners in Portlaoise, Hydebank, Magheberry and elsewhere?
The peace of Tony Taylor, Gabriel Mackle and Neil Hegarty?
The peace of the Loughinsland massacre victim relatives?
The peace of the Free State and Northern Ireland?
The peace of the homeless?
The peace of the poor?
The peace of the drugs epidemic?
The peace of the decadence of so many town and villages around the Irish Nation?
The peace of the decadence of the traditional Irish culture?
The peace of the oppressors, and exploiters?
The peace of the enemies of Ireland?

What peace?
Is freedom already won?
Can you really say that and call yourselves Republican?

Don't think so, but is only McT N opinion
