Remember the catalan process and all the hype?

We are not going again to remember all what was around the catalan so-call process: the publicity, all the media hype, all the leftist super-cool, all the solidarity people they don't like the popular classes of their own nation in so many nations...

One would assume that when someone starts something like that, with repercussions to many people (even not as grave as they try to portray trying to put this at the same level as real national struggles), that the leader and one of the main pushers of the all thing will be a man of deep convictions, adamant in his stance and so on.

We can keep making thing up. What is the thing with the catalans, basques apart of a really good public relations machines? Because when you History, the real history you see many things are not as the sell them.
But more important, what the thing with spain, left and right?
