Some general thoughts

A historical Republican figure said some centuries ago that the rich always betrays the poor.

You can say something similar, and is, in real politics never trust your enemies and/or the enemies of your Cause (if your are for real of course). Sooner or later, they will always betray you, they will always try to undermine you or worse. Never follow them.

As and extension, you can also say that, if you want to improve and push your Cause in a good direction, a meaningful one, never play their games or accept their advises.

Is your enemy going to give you good advice? Are they going to give you or put proper resources or tools in your hands that really benefit you, your cause and undermine theirs? They are going to lead you in the good direction? Is a friend and an enemy the same?

Are the rich gonna share fairly and honestly their riches with the rest (they don't do that even with the people working or doing things for them!) one day, for no reason, just because they feel in the mood?
