Is hard to realize that the struggle against the enemy within the USSR was real. Many good communists, within the masses and more in particular within the structures and leaders, were silenced and even killed. As Kirov, he was the best friend and future successor of Stalin at the head of the Leadership: he was murdered . And many other cases. We have to remember the Doctors's plot: many soviets and international communists leader were killed by them.We have to remember that they were able to dismantle Stalin security circle even killing some of its members.And finally, they killed Stalin.
The killing of Stalin was the peak of the anti-communist struggle within the USSR. It was the main target and they were able to achieve it. After his killing, many true communist in the medium and low levels (they were no real communist in the high level, only soviet aristocrats) were repressed. After his dead, they gained full power.
And then a process of implosion, of dismantling all the good things started. A degeneration in all aspects started and finish with Gorbachev and the collapse (collapse not destruction after an open outside attack) of the USSR. Of course, the Brits, the Zionists, the US, the Germans (yes, the germans) had their cells and agents within the USSR, play a part and they were active in all this.
But without the corruption of many of the soviet leaders, without the ability of placing agents in key positions, they would not be able to achieve the destruction of the USSR, or at least not without an open aggression. And an aggression against the main actor in the defeat of Nazi germany would not be something easy to sell to the people, communist or not.
All this highlight the importance of political and ideological clarity of the actors involved, to have good, proper and strong ideological basis, a sound philosophical base to begin with and building good and strong structures in top of this. And then, apart and of course, having and choosing the correct and appropriate people for the appropriate positions ...

And a lot of the same can be said for the British Communist that are not fully supporting Irish liberation cause fully.Now, and what to say in the past. Not supporting it, no.Fully backing it and fighting for it inside their sphere of influence, and that means Britain. And why? Because its the right thing to do, because is a truly National Liberation struggle that deserves to be helped and supported to begin with...
