The Irish example 1 (and a Cantabrian tale)

The Irish Nation, the People of Erin, through their vanguards shaped in Irish Republican Movementis an example to other Native Nations without Freedom, enslaved,  oppressed... and divided and exploited.

In one form and another, in one level of intensity or another, to the present day they keep the fight. Of course, and unfortunately first of all for them,  the new-tech era had its impact, all the modern era shit had impact...and with it the mentalities that are part of the pack. They make mistakes of course, and the enemy is there always, always trying to ... We know what they want, what they do,and inenough cases how to know how dirty they are (as their friends) .Corruption, cynicism, hypocrisy and lack of morals and values...are their references.

But, better or worse, they keep fighting, and they keep up the Irish Flags, National (the National and the ones of the 4 historical provinces) and Revolutionaries (Satrry Plough, CnB, Sun Burst and others).

Yes, the Irish Nation has suffer a lot. Maybe the worst episode was during the Irish Holocaust, badly called famine. It had terrible features. But suffering is something common to if not all most of the Native Nations of the world. For example, another Native Nation, not far away from Erin; the Cantabrian Nation. The Cantabrian Nation suffered more recently a genocide. Before, in many sense the Spanish imperial agents were preparing the ground, with their left and right arms. Then since the 1937 pure and simple genocide: execution by the thousands, men and women,  killing some times whole families (like in anti-resistance operations after the war), kidnapping and torturing of individuals, forcing to exile of thousands even entire families, starving many areas of the country, destroying the ways of life of hundreds of families, imposing a police-state regime similar of that of in Nazi occupied territories for nearly 3 decades.  And since 3 or 4 decades now they "democratize" their methods. But same goals: destruction of the Cantabrian Nation, and for this they have to root out the National Identity, the National natural ways of life, the National Culture (real no modern manipulate plastic versions), the National Spirit and Pride of the Cantabrian  People's. Since 3 or 4 decades they have been using economic methods, massive flow of drugs, saturation of migrants in some areas for some years, destroying traditional villages and neighborhoods and building more spanish friendly style, bringing tourism and taking out traditional economic activities, builing highways and road to everywhere, destroying pretty much untouched parts of the Cantabiran Country till few years ago.A number: around 20 years ago, they were around 20.000 families in farming (combine with small-medium agriculture activities in many cases); now they are less than 2.000 families. And is not the case that all the families have go down to the cities and so. No, many of the families had to migrate out of Cantabria to spain.

Just a good examples of this, just in recent times, and that had more light that others, partly because the area was in :

Amparo, a Cantabrian woman of 86 years old.  Kick out of the family house she built with his husband many, many years ago.We can see a lot of green. The area was a area for families of the Cantabrian Popular Classes. Even some cows, horses and goats were to be seen till recently. We can see in the back new modern houses. Many of them for the new wave of spanish settlers coming from Madrid and Bilbao.
In the area of her house they were a small group of houses (other people accepted the money they were offered in compensation). Knocking them down takes out apart of the immediate effect takes out  the possibility for their descendant of keeping a chance of living there.
The excuse to the take down her house down and puling her out at nearly 90 years of age, was the need of a road section of only few hundred meters connection two main roads. The funny thing is that to the left and to the right of the "needed" section, and only between 200 and 300 meters they already  two section connecting the roads. It was obvious that this construction (and the "public need" speech of the system that in this case no one bought) was and excuse with something that was not needed.

This Cantabrian woman elder died like this, needless to say with deep frustration and sadness, maybe even depress. Hundreds upon hundreds of less famous cases all across the Cantabrian Nation really similar, hundreds upon hundreds of fellow Cantabrian Men and Women elders finishing their lives like this. No words...  :

During the protests of this case they the World Sailing competition took place in the city. A march took place from her house to the place of one of the main acts.

The video of it was in this blog:

https://camberaroja.wordpress.com/2014/09/18/santander-mundial-de-vela-2014-la-otra-cara/

Now it seems is not possible to watch it. What a convenient coincidence! As many others.

Any from the Cantabrian side of Mc T, that gave the direction of the video, as a part of the amrch and protest and therefore witness of the events the explanation of the video follows:

some dozens of people, a lot of women, men taking part. None of the new political alternative starts. Some crazy with the Cantabrian National Flag. Lots of police from the beginning and specially at the end. Near the end, the spanish police try to prevent the march to reach the pretend destination. They were a couple of  shoves, lots of tension, some shouting, some unhappy protesters... and finally, after several minutes, the people of the march through different ways arrived were they wanted

Out of video at the end of the march the Cantabrian National Flag had more covert than other parts of the protest. And the most curiously thing: there was a middle age woman already there with a banner of a left spanish org, that when the high politicians and friends come,  was more worried to say to one of the people there  -a protester- not to use strong language and shout much. Nothing more she did.
