A little of ideological warfare

True revolutionaries, socialist or communist, being first republican (traditional Irish way of course), can not have as role model and references sport men and women, actors, singers and so on. And less of all the modern ones, all fashion, make-money-don't-care-of much-less that are part and parcel of the capitalism system. The entertainment division.

Apolitical people  many times look for the political people and if they are all over soccer players or teams, boxer nad that political persons is doing him her self a diservice and to the apolitical people as well.

You can follow teams, bands, singer but within a normal parameters, not bombastic fashion like as they are the most of the most, because first of all that’s a capitalists symptom. Like following and being fan of  millioners whatever they are, in a world full of hunger by wrong distribution, poverty and injustice. Is contradiction if you consider yourself a socialist or a communist

For example in soccer, and the most radical example: we like the Celtic, but we can't talk like them as if they were a brigade! or that if their victory make a free and united Ireland close. And yes, up The Green Brigade: many times do good political related thing and apart they are normal people.

People that think a little will be getting the message here. As said the priority of thinking, action, and publicize something should be political if you are a real and deep political activists.

Music is different because is an ancient art and popular expression. In music apart are many popular, singers and bands that perform real traditional music, or what to say of rebel-republican singers or groups. Of course you can follow them, have them in great esteem and love as we all do of some singer, bands or songs.

The case, and more in the Net, that we can put at the same level the Celtic and the IRA for example, or, with all the respects,  James Connolly or James Mclean, or the the Wolfe Tones to Padraig Pearse.

James Mclean have to be applaud for been consistent as and Irish fella and refuse to wear the poppy. Dance with the Wolfe Tones, and enjoy Celtic victories of course...

But the heroes, the ideals and the social political references should be clear. If we are political individuals and we are doing this or that trully for a cause we should reserve our bows and the highest shrine to the ones that fought and give all for the liberation and for the martyrs.
