McT N believe that politics and religion should be mix as least as possible.
The Irish case is the perfect example. The fight is for reconquering Freedom and Independence for the Nation since the beginning to have it with and proper Irish Republic since 1916. Never was the root. the true causes in religion, in the different sects that exist in Ireland.
Ireland's enemies made it a religious thing. From outside the Brits, fomenting sectarianism with its power in order divide and rule, like the Romans did, and they were the first to to do it. To rule in the present and create ill feelings and distractions for many years to come. They are more interested in talking about Catholics and Protestants that in Natives and Settlers, or the Nation and her Invaders and Colonizers. But from inside, the 'good' Catholics talking the same talk but with different clothes. Like the Catholic Church. It has consistently side it self, with no surprise if you analyse it history and development not only in Ireland and other sister nations but in the all world, in the side of the imperial powers, the oppressors and exploiters till now.
In McT N believe in the power of love. But not only love, because as Pearse said if you love something and someone hurts or destroy that thing from that love hate appears, and it should be always like rhat. If not is not true love. You don't really love your native nation if you don't hate the ones -regardless of gender, origin, colour, religion, smile...- that hurts her or destroys her.
And McT N believes in Respect for everyone that deserves it regardless of gender, origin, colour, religion.
As said, is much better to talk about religion and spiritual issues and politics in separate conversations, Should be.
