Historical manipulation is crucial for the imperial powers to keep the Native Nation controlled, be them Irish, Cantabrian, etc.
Anyway, here is a example of it:
The case of this Cantabrian Kid was used by a Brit, and then US people, to created a NGO that still operates. We are not going to give it publicity.
Do we think that this is known in Cantabria? Not even by a cantabrian quite well documented, that even wrote a book, from a Cantabrian Republican, Patriot perspective (and of course anti-nazi) that researched for years, talked to veterans -guerrilla fighters, political activist, prisoners- and people of all positions, apart of the family experiences, that went to uncover things cover by the spanish left (because, they sold the Cantabrian republican fighters, the native antifascist, the Cantabrian Nation) and of course the right, the treachery of the basques and so.
This fact, and so many other are cover, manipulate and cover.
They sell that the Cantabrian fighters did fought, didn't resist. Here is a little example of a little graveyard in a Cantabrian village of some Italians :
(the spanish were mainly sent to their land to be buried there, and the Italians have a really big graveyard only for them in the site of the biggest battle in Cantabria, important in Cantabrian fight were the first and biggest, the Battle of El Escudu and the last, that mark the fall of the socall north front, the Battle of El Mazucu)
And image of some fighting in the Battle of Escudu:
And they cover the fact that the Cantabrian Nation was independent. And that one of the main reasons the spanish left sold out the Cantabrian People and left them to be massacred by the fascist.
Here images of some coins made by the Cantabrian Goverment between 19 of July 1936 and August 1937:
Cantabrian Militian Men and Women:
Cantabrian POWs
Cantabrian Partisans
(members of one of the first Cantabrian Partisan Brigades)
(Gildu, one the bravest)
(Cenciu Aja, was communist and cantabrian nationalist, tried to created a Cantabrian Partisan Army after his release of prison. Died in a river, trying to escape of an ambush of the security forces)
[ in this photo, one of the biggest Cantabrian heroes and martyr, Juanin, note that had a guardia civil's hat in his leg. Even this was try to be cover up and manipulate by spanish left and cantabrian lackeys saying was something else (didn't say what btw) that he didn't really fought, that was in good term whit most of GC and more bullshit histories]
Some Cantabrian Partisans killed in action and taken by the spanish forces
Don't get mistaken, by the names of Palencia and Burgos in the coins. They did cover historical territories of the Cantabrian Nation, not a bit of foreign land:
North Burgos and North Palencia are the southern regions of the ancient and historical Cantabrian Nation.
Here is the division :
And still people remember the martyrs, the partisans...after all:
